With the exchange rate the way it is, you’ll find taking a cab everywhere makes sense. I know people who have moved to NYC and just sold their car. I liked the “roundabouts” — once I figured out which lane to get into.

Well I’m going to NYC in February and would never dream of driving there with no right-hand driving experience (especially in a big city).

I left Gatwick in a Passat wagon and managed to park it in Oxford. I just sat there in the seat wondering how I was still alive and dreading cranking the engine again.
